Paintball Field Rules

These rules apply to all players who play on my fields and may differ from other paintball fields.

 

The following rules are given to each briefing before players can enter the playing field.

 

KEEP YOUR GOGGLES ON - Before you enter the playing field you must have your goggles on and they must remain on until the referee has checked to make sure your gun is on safety. Only then can you take your goggles off.

NO CLOSE SHOOTING - NOTHING LESS THAN 5 METERS - If you are attacking a fort or come within 5 meters of another player yell out "Surrender", if he/she makes any threatening moves what so ever...... Take them out. Shooting at close range just hurts a bit more but should be avoided.

NO CLIMBING TREE’S - Never get in a position you can’t get out of in a hurry. If you have too, RUN AWAY as it’s much harder to hit a moving target. Always have your escape route planned.

NO SHOOTING MY BIRDS - Tui’s, Weka’s, Fantails, Peacocks etc Any person shooting or shooting at my birds or any other wildlife will be kicked out of the game. NO REFUNDS.

DON'T PICK UP OLD PAINTBALLS - If the paintballs come in contact with any moisture they start to break down by getting soft and swelling until they break. If you put a soft, large paintball in your gun it will either stop other paintballs from feeding in or will break in your gun and possibly stop it from working.

NO SHOOTING THE REFEREE - I have played this game for over 12 years, I have a very nice gun, I have unlimited paintballs, if any player shoots me as a REFEREE, I WILL SHOOT THEM BACK SEVERAL TIMES. As a referee I am there to make sure players obey the rules of the game as well as the safety rules. Pick your target wisely.

THE ‘HIT’ RULES

If a paintball hits you and bounces off, If a paintball hits you and breaks

If a paintball hits your gun or anything you are carrying, It’s counted as a "HIT"

Yell out "HIT" as load as you can, hold you gun in the air and your other hand up as well and go to a medic station which is controlled by your team and touch it and you become alive again.
